Steelers inactives for game vs. Ravens

The Steelers inactives for tonight's game against the Baltimore Ravens includes three players that were ruled out on Friday.

Ryan Shazier suffered a spinal injury against the Bengals and on Wednesday night UPMC neurosurgeons and Steelers team physicians Drs. David Okonkwo and Joseph Maroon performed spinal stabilization surgery on Shazier to address his injury.

Tyler Matakevich, who stepped in against the Bengals for Shazier, is also inactive. Matakevich suffered a shoulder injury against the Bengals and didn't practice all week.

With the two of them out, look for a combination of players to step up, including Sean Spence, who was signed this past week.

The Steelers will be also be without Joe Hadenfor the fourth consecutive week. Haden, who suffered a fractured fibula against the Colts on Nov. 12, is working on his rehab.

The other inactives include Joshua Dobbs, J.J. Wilcox, Matt Feiler and Daniel McCullers.

Here is a complete list of the players who will be inactive when the Steelers take on the Ravens.

      Steelers Inactives
      No. 5 QB Joshua Dobbs
      No. 21 CB Joe Haden
      No. 27 S J.J. Wilcox
      No. 44 LB Tyler Matakevich
      No. 50 LB Ryan Shazier
      No. 71 OT Matt Feiler
      No. 93 DT Daniel McCullers

      Ravens Inactives
      No. 11 WR Breshad Perriman
      No. 28 RB Terrance West
      No. 38 CB Stanely Jean-Baptiste
      No. 71 G Jermaine Eluemunor
      No. 76 OG Maurquice Shakir
      No. 90 LB Za'Darius Smith
      No. 92 DE Bronson Kaufusi
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
