Don't get rid of the evidence of how ridiculous some posters are just waiting for something bad to happen. Especially those who want something and to happen to validate their ridiculous positions

      Very true.

We were down 10-0 late in the first or early second quarter and there were comments that "unless something crazy happens and we somehow come back and win this game..." lol As if 10 points with three quarters of a game is insurmountable.

OMG, people are just venting their frustrations sometimes.
        Lighten up already.
I mean without any threads there would be no forums.
No one is forcing anyone to read them.

          You’re right...

But, we CAN laugh at them!
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

              Who's this guy? lol

I already answered you in another thread, but I'll take another opportunity here since you quoted me. The score was but a side bar to what was happening when I made that post. We were getting absolutely gashed by Cincy (run and pass)... and had no answers on Offense. Luckily, they lost 5 or 6 of their starters, had several key drops that were drive/momentum killers, and committed close to 200 yards in penalties.

                Slapstick/Ovi...

When you boys start seeing me say "OMG we suck, fire them all, the sky is falling, etc." when things head south, you can lump me in with those other fanatics. I see myself as being very well on point and objective in my praise and criticisms alike.

have we ever seen Squidkid and WB in the same post? j/k

what happened to Squidkid? Did all these wins run him off?

Seems to be a coincidence. Perhaps Tarlton is Squid's "Alter ego". Squid was never one to squelch criticism... warranted or not. lol

No shades of gray with those guys. Everything is black and white. There can be no criticism of anybody. Except Jarvis Jones.

For what it's worth, I've criticized Tomlin before, but I think last night was probably his best performance as a head coach. Nobody would have blamed them a bit if they lost that game after Shazier's injury. Yet he kept the team together and they rallied.

I agree with this 100%, and stated something to the effect in another thread. Kudos to Tomlin for getting the team re-grouped at halftime. A defining moment in his career IMO.

nothing wrong with being negative while watching us play bad football in the first half but it's a 60 minute game.

I think some people put the game in the Loss column way too early.

I had a friend text me blaming ME for the defense because he was a Lebeau fan. He was saying things like "this could be the beginning of a 3 loss stretch"

I'll be the first to admit, I was one of those guys who had it going as an "L" early on (barring something Crazy happening)... I've seen too much Steeler football over the last 35 years to not have felt that way. Call it a "Gut feeling".

I also agree there needs to be a line drawn as to the level of negativity and criticism... when things go south. Some folks appear to use it as a platform, and almost appear to be "Thriving" during our misfortunes.... to the point that I really wonder if they are Steelers fans or not.
