Did anyone else hear Gruden's quote that went something like Ben has to do the hurry up offense with no huddle because he isn't getting any help from Haley? Busted out laughing, and my 12 yr old son said what??? Has it become that bad? Gruden said it, so wow...

Um sure, but why are we talking about now?
In response to his pleas, an officer said: "You think we've never arrested somebody that's made national media? ... We deal with the Bengals all the time."

The Tomlin haters cannot wait until the game is over and the loss is official. They cannot wait until they lose the next two or three before they are questioning whether he should be fired. Does it ever get old?

The Steelers have eked out more than a few this year when I thought they would lose, doesn't Tomlin get credit for keeping the team together and never quitting?

60 minute game. Some people love to complain.

Hi Dirt - I thought I *might* have heard Gruden say that he was quoting Ben. Which is even weirder!!

I was a negative nellie on the game thread, but the first two and a half quarters were *horrible*.
The team doesn't have quit in it, though, and the three Bs pulled their act together, and the D gave us enough to win.

So in the end all was almost good.

Almost? I'm worried about AB's knock on the head. How does he hold on to the ball there? The Bengals always manage to inflict some bad damage on the team.
Am also worried about Shazier. Hope he's OK.

He said Ben doesn't get any help from Haley while he's in the no huddle and that Haley prepares him all week. Haley gives Ben the freedom in the no huddle to read the defense and make the calls. This is not uncommon for a QB of Ben's caliber and it's not any sort of jab at Haley.

Tomlin haters are a bit like the Bungles -- celebrating too early.

This board never fails to disappoint.

Of course not. He only gets the blame when the team loses.
