I would have preferred it's Green Bay now then on to Cincinnati but that's just me. Cats out of the bag. Could it backfire ? Sure bulletin board stuff sometimes does. That's MT what r u gonna do.
We do need to prepare n play better in order to beat that Pats team. However for now lets just beat the Bengals.

I don't know why he does it because it's embarrassing when the team doesn't produce after it.

If everyone here was forced to bet their next paycheck on the Steelers-Patriots game in December, I wonder how many would take the Steelers?
Great question: I'm a bit embarrassed to say that probably bet my paycheck on us. But I really thought the same thing last January, due in some part with the bravado I mentioned I got from Tomlin back then too. It's embarrassing because I feel that I (as a informed fan like you all) think I should be wise enough to see it, or see through it. And I can't.

williar also made a great point, about how he like the not being a punk-bitch and standing up to them. I agree, which is why I was duped in January, only to be massively let down then. I feel like he wouldn't be so stupid to (blindly) do the same, if he didn't have 11 months of letting it stew and more importantly, identifying something in them that he worked to correct or exploit in the next matchup.

Embarrassing to say: I'd bet the next check on us.
I wasn't hired for my disposition.

No need to be embarrassed! Good for you! I don't think I could do it. Too long of a history of disappointing performances against the cheaters. For some reason, we are as intimidated by them as the Clowns and Bungles are of us.

I always bet my coworker when we play a good opponent.

I won't bet against the Pats but he is going to work me over all week trying.
