Once again, you make things up.
I never said that. I said it was not indicative of any skill on his behalf. I have invited you, via film review, to show me where it is indicative of skill and you have refused.
So, you can point out 2 in 2 seasons. Bully.
The words of someone pretending he knows something he does not. If JJSS is blocking so well, it should free up more routes for the TEs. Our TEs are doing the same thing they have always been asked to.
False choice. No one said we need a Gronk. We need a competent TE. One who blocks. One who can draw coverage on occasion as a decoy or legitimate threat. One who challenges safeties to make a decision to cover the seam/pole routes or double an outside guy. Our guys (other than Vance) do not and cannot do it.

We've seen James catch a TD in traffic in the end zone in the first game this year. We've seen Grimble catch a TD pass from 20 yards out vs the Ravens last year.
Their responsibilities are different this year because we have JuJu who is a much better slot receiver than Eli and he gives us the flexibility of running or passing since he blocks like Heinz.
Seriously, we have JuJu and MB back this year so why would anyone think our TE's would be a factor in this offense? That's not our scheme. We don't need our TE's to Jimmy Graham or Gronk it up. When the time comes that our WR's are covered Ben will look to a TE if Bell isn't open but more times than not he is going to force it to AB or Bell because those guys are capable of making things happen regardless of how many guys are surrounding them.
