Yeah - I don't get it. The Ravens shut out the Packers and then we allow them to score 28. Missed tackles and allowing easy long plays. Is the defense just not getting up for the teams we're supposed to beat easily? Or is the opposition really stepping up? Combination of both? Whatever it is, I don't like it!
And speaking of the DB's, Burns makes me the most nervous. After his few gaffes, they showed him on the sidelines laughing it up with AB.

Everyone gets up when they play us and I definitely think a few guys didn't take Huntley seriously.
Not mad at Burns for laughing on the sideline, maybe AB said something that was funny?
You can't dwell on your mistakes as a DB.
I don't like when we play like this but it's expected. I tell my friends all the time we do it for the ratings and the drama. We know how to give fans who hate us just enough hope to watch a full game vs a backup.
The Steelers had DBs on the field? I missed them, can you identify the numbers for me pls?

The shutout against the Ravens was a fluke...the Packers are capable of putting up points without Rodgers...anyway, this is the NFL...performance from week to week can vary...
Does Ben throw 5 INTs every game? No.
Does Ben throw 4 TDs every game? No.
I imagine after their poor showing against the Ravens, the Packers players were eager to put that loss behind them with a win against their coach’s hometown team...they didn’t get it...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

Who knows? He may have been talking to AB trying to get advice on coverage. Remember, he played against AB almost exclusively throughout camp and he may be going over something that happened when he got burned.
We may be able to criticize his play - and we will but we can't really be too upset over a conversation that we know nothing about.

Yeah - I'm not actually upset over it. It just felt odd to me at the time. As a fan watching from TV, everything is completely out of context.
I'm just really frustrated watching these incredibly long scoring plays against our D. Early on in the season, it seemed like the D was improving week to week. We were giving up yards but not so many TDs and big plays. Now, 11 games in, I'm as nervous about this D as I was last year at this time.
Hopefully there's a little bit of overlooking the Packers. Otherwise, we're in for a 40-burger against the cheaters and would have to win in a major shoot-out.
There were a lot of mental mistakes in that game. Sometimes this defense's quickness is a liability. Sometimes you wait for the play to come to you. We are not seeing an improvement like NE' a defense who started horrid, but now is respectable.
Stop please. We are not the world champs. And have not been for a decade now. Teams see the weak secondary of ours and are exploiting it. Plain and simple.

Dude, we are the Steelers. Teams get up to play us whether you like it or not. Has nothing to do with winning a SB recently. We have 6 rings and are usually in the mix every year.

While I don't disagree, that concept doesn't seem to have the same effect on the cheaters. They normally pound the weak teams.

Because the Steelers have been good for, like, 45 years, (with a few bad seasons). The Pats** have been good since 2001...and they are proven cheaters...
