I meant to say that I would not even allow our guys in locker room to shower after the game! I honestly don't think a true Steeler fan could swallow that, losing to a depleted NE in the championship game at home!

I don't know that they're really all THAT depleted. Brady + Amendola + Gronk + decent protection. They're getting it done and Brady is playing much better than Ben.

Our D SHOULD be better.

It'll be a good matchup. Given our history, I'd expect the game to be difficult.

Hypothetically speaking, I would much rather play Tenn than Jacksonville - I think Jags defense is for real! And if the scenario were to play out - Steelers losing to the pats (again) in the AFC CG, this time at Heinz Field, I would allow our guys in the locker room to shower! I'd tell them to just get in their cars and go! We are blowing this whole thing up!

I want no parts of that Jags team. They always give Ben fits when their D is good

You know, a lot of us (mainly myself) think it is almost a foregone conclusion that the Steelers are going to representing the AFC in the Superbowl. I am actually starting to worry a little bit every since I read that post from (Papillon.) If he (one of Ben's biggest fans) doesn't think Ben can rise to the occasion, then what the heck am I holding out any hope for that he can turn it around? I mean, we got to get "something" out of this guy! I believe our defense is good enough to get us to a certain point - but I don't think their 2008 Steeler Super Bowl winning good.

if ben gives us 225 and 1 or 2 tds with zero or 1 int, i think that would be enough to win the superbowl...................thats not asking much from our 'elite' qb
