    Cam Sutton back practicing

Started his 21 day clock to determine whether he gets activated or placed on season ending IR.

The conventional wisdom says that secondary if playing well the Lions game notwithstanding. Would be interesting to see if Sutton could handle punt duties and get added to special teams. I read that Brian Allen could go to practice squad but IMO that would be a major mistake and he would be picked up. They put him on the Final 53 for a reason and I think they see something special in him

    Thoughts?

General opinion seems to be Sensabaugh gets the axe. Or J Hawkins, who hasn't done diddly.

I would say big Dan is in trouble if Sutton returns, He is clearly the #6 dl. Not a lock to be let go but he is in the mix.

Ok so here’s a crazy idea cut James put him on staff as an assistant to Joey or something like that then you still have him available if one of the Linebackers goes down with a injury. All he is doing is sitting on the bench anyway.

i honestly cant see a role for sutton this year unless an injury or two occurs

hes just too far behind for a team with SB aspirations, imo

Its a long season. Injuries are part of football. We may need him for depth.

Dude that is a crazy ide.......oh what......you called your idea crazy already.

What we need to do with James is PLAY THE MAN.
I dont want anybody backing Watt over JH.

JP would not want James in his space IMO.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

I don't think that Allen goes to the PS. Might not be Big Dan either while we have one DL still not playing. I'd say Sensebaugh most likely with McCullers if Tuitt is good to go.

A rookie who missed most of training camp? After only a few weeks of meaningful practices? On a team with SB aspirations? Sensabaugh is a veteran who went through all
of training camp. And, he has 3 ST tackles. I think it’s a long shot for Sutton this season, barring any injuries to DBs...

I'd rather see Sutton getting game experience even if on special teams than Hawkins or even Sensabaugh, but hey that's me and all I've done is spend a night at a Holiday Inn Express
