Young Feller spells Old Muthah Hubbard - concussion

Gilbert out ... Hubbard injured (concussion, they say) ... in comes our knight on a white horse. Wait ... "Matt Feller, rookie"? Really?

Well, the world didn't end, we got a bye week so Hubbard should be good and hopefully Gilbert too. Bullet dodged, blue skies ahead. Thanks Mr. Feller for holding down the fort!

We got our "6-PACK" - time to work on a CASE!

Matt Feiler is not a rookie. The Texans signed him as an UDFA back in 2014 out of Bloomsburg (a local college to me...the best man at my wedding is a chemistry professor there...Former All-Pro guard Jahri Evans also came out of Bloomsburg once upon a time).

He's been on our practice squad for the last couple seasons. With his practice squad eligibility now up, he had to either make the final 53 this year or hit the bricks. In Latrobe this summer, he beat out (among others), Brian Mihalik, who started this game at LT for the Lions.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Ah, good info. I called him a rook because steelers.com had him as "Experience - 1" on their roster.

Main point being ... he didn't get Ben killed, and we ought to have at least one if not two of the people ahead of him rosterwise back for the next game. Yeah!

Feiler looked a lot better and bigger at camp this summer. He is a big man who got in better shape and who played some inside at guard in the past as well. To be honest he may be better inside as he is a mauler n more suited to work at guard. Feet I'm not sure are good enough to be more then serviceable at the tackle position.
