      Yeah!

Can anyone tell his story please? Did he drop in the draft? What school did he go to?

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

        TCFCLTC-
The Coach Formerly Considered Less Than Cowher

He went to USC. First time I watched him was in the Rose Bowl vs Penn State. JuJu put on a show and led the comeback.

I think he dripped due due to his age and his 40 time which was a little slow. Most people complained when we drafted him and wondered if he could get open in the NFL due to his 40 time.

Hey, thanks for the 411, dizz.

He sure seemed fast enough on the TD!

Any people who complained, just didn't know. In a lot of ways, it was like the Le'veon Bell pick a few years back. Bell was also a "slow", productive major college guy who was considered more pedestrian than anything else. But people who watched him (or Bell, I'm guessing) knew he was a player.
I wasn't hired for my disposition.

It definitely helped that the Athletic Director at USC is Lynn Swann. You know the Steelers reached out to him for his take on the kid. What I've read is Swann saying nothing but great things about JuJu.

Screw Juju we should have drafted a CB.....he says sarcastically
"My team, may they always be right, but right or wrong...MY TEAM!"

I'm in that same boat as well. I'll completely admit that I didn't love the pick (to say the least), but I'm so glad that he is proving me wrong.

True, I doubted Bell. Thing is.. this Bell we see now is not the Bell we saw at Michigan State. Granted I didn't pay close attention to him but he was more of a bruiser who jumped over people from time to time. I damn sure didn't see this guy when we drafted him.

being proven wrong about a Steeler draft pick is the best thing in the world when they work out.

if there is ever a time to be happy about being wrong this is the time.

And some fans was saying wasted pick because MB was coming back. Maybe the Steelers knew all the while that he was a head case.

hell, who didn't know MB was a head case? lol..

a few folks said MB couldn't be trusted so this pick was insurance. I don't even think it was insurance, just a GREAT kid with a huge frame who blocks like a maniac and catches more passes than he drops.

That drop last night was terrible but I think it showed he was human.

He’s on track for right around 50 catches, 900 yards, and 8 TDs. That is a very good rookie season...a special one if he keeps doing what he’s doing...
