Did I say the "D is fine"? lol I said the Pass Defense was playing well. Other than that, you might be right in that they may struggle also when we get up against the top tier qbs.

I'm more worried about the D than Ben. I think there's a much better chance he comes out of his funk than the D becoming all world. They are the 28th ranked run defense. And that's against what everyone thought was the soft part of the schedule. It's not bad, it down right sucks. I have no idea what answers they can come up with to stop 13 straight runs from marching down the field. That was horrifying to watch.

I still say the hugeass NT (that requires a double-team and frees up players) is underrated in the 34 defense. It's magnified when you're trailing and can't stop the run. So many folks said, "a 2-down player" wasn't worth it. They forget how important those 2 downs can be when you're trailing. All downs are not created equal.
        b,b,but it's a passing league!!!

yeah, until they run it down your throats after you abandon the Casey Hampton NT strategy.

I suspect they'll find a 350lb trench stuffer in the mid-rounds this upcoming draft.

Found myself actually wanting Eli Rogers out there (hasn't he been punished enough for the muffed punt - he woulda made a couple of catches that were directed toward Hunter and hit the ground). Having both him and JuJu are simply too many first year steelers on the field at the same time - half your WRs in a 4 WR set. Just didn't seem that Ben trusted them and he started just going AB (who had like 17 targets by the time it was over).
Just read that Eli is going to dress this week... obviously the team felt the same about the miscommunications... Expecting the team to light up the scoreboard this weekend.

I may be wrong but isn't Alex Smith the top rated QB so far this year. And does KC have the #1 rushing offense in the league?
I have a good feeling about this game for some reason. It seems to me that we play better when people count us out. This might be the week we put it together.

I think Hugh Jass is a junior at Alabama this year, we'll have to wait a couple years to draft him, unless, he comes out early.
