    Hopefully, this game is

    The eye opener Ben needed. Talent alone doesn't win games at 35. He needs to practice everyday. Establish a rhythm with ALL your WRs and your OL. Put in the work. 5 ints is bad in 3 games.

    Maybe I’m being too logical here but entering this game the Jags Defense were #1 against the pass and #32 against the run. So what do the Steelers do? They throw it about 60 times and Bell only has like 15 carries. Am I just clueless here?

      5 ints in 3 games? Heck he picked all of that up today. Ben has known his play's been poor. Today is unlikely to change anything.

            5 games in - the shaking off the rust excuse no longer applies. What answers are they going to find? It is incompetent at all levels. Ben looks disinterested. How do you fix it if the starting QB doesn't have his heart in it anymore.

                    agree with all of this. that was a total embarrasment today

                    something has been off with this team all year, IMO. havent really played well in any game but were fortunate to play some lesser teams

                    have already squandered the very manageable early season schedule

                      So this team...

                      A QB that wants to play the Brett Favre retirement game...
                      Has a guy that wants $17 million and has done little to nothing...
                      A WR that is more concerned about his catches than winning...
                      How they look regarding a National Anthem protest...

                      Seems like they have the right mindset to be a winning team.


                      One other thing and I will leave it to people who watch more tape than I do. But the one thing I thought I noticed at the tail end of the season was that Ben seemed inconsistent offensively. I said to my wife I wonder if the hits are finally starting to take their toll on Ben.

                      He hasn't seemed as accurate/quick as he used to be. He seems to be able to throw the deep ball it's the other stuff that looks off to me.

                      I have also been looking at the other guys this year that were in Ben's class of 04 - both Eli and Philip Rivers look like they are starting to fade as well.

                      As I said it just feels that way...I could be way off.

                          agree with just about all of this. Ben's deep balls are "Jump balls"...and, believe it or not, his 20+yard completion percentage is poor this year. You are right, Manning and Rivers are in decline... Manning lost 4 receivers today due to injury. Time to reload at the QB position

                              I believe the Steelers were winning the game when back to back pick 6's happened. The game plan worked early in the game. Then turnover after turnover changed the complexion of the game.
