The playcalling by the KC OC is a thing of beauty. Very little predictability, good use of personnel formations, spreading the ball around, balanced run/pass.

Kareem Hunt is the truth. Tried to tell people this was a deep running back class.

I know. As much as I respect K.C., I do not fear them like I do some others, plus since they don't have Eric Berry, who I do fear. Every time I watch Kareem Hunt - I think, that is what Dri Archer was supposed to be. One thing I will say about them is they know how to draft running backs like we draft wide receivers.Comment

I don't see that comparison at all. I thought Tarik Cohen is what Dri Archer was supposed to be (an undersized but really fast and athletic multipurpose weapon), but not Hunt. Hunt is an every down workhorse type back who outweighs Archer by over 40 lbs. Hunt is more similar in stature and style to guys like Shady McCoy, Clinton Portis, Emmitt Smith, etc.Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.Comment

no way.. Dri Archer is much smaller than Hunt. I still think we didn't use Archer right. Did anyone ever pick him up?

Alex Smith is really athletic, particularly for his age now. Smith was a super bright student. He is the only QB I can think of in the last 10 years or so to successfully go from a read option offense in college to a pro style offense in the NFL...he is the case that gives me hope for Joshua Dobbs becoming at least a competent NFL QB.Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.Comment

I believe Andy Reid calls the Cheifs' plays. Ask Eagles fans how they feel about Reid's play calling. I prefer to place my focus on execution. Execution is where games are won or loss.Comment

Spoken for truth. Strange thing is Roethlisberger could easily be that kind of QB but the Steelers are dealing with the downside of a big play QB. They talked about this on Mike and Mike this morning. When the big plays stop happening for Roethlisberger, he becomes a very ordinary QB.Comment

The play calling will look a lot better and we won't even be discussing the OC when Ben begins to play his best football. Ben just appears to be out of synch with the rest of the offense, it's really strange.
