Almost 30 on offense; held 'em to 9 on defense ... are we living up to potential?

Yes, but I am saying that it should have been ruled a completed pass and then down by contact when AB's elbow hit the ground and made the ball pop up into the air.
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

so if the ball, isnt intercepted and hits the ground the refs would have called that an incomplete pass?

This is the Steelers potential... people really understimated our defense going into the year, and it is why I liked us so much going into this year (along with the explosive offense). We didn't fire on all cylinders--and we still beat them by that score today. That's the way it should be. When we do fire on all cylinders? Look out.

That's the potential of this team.

He never completed the catch by NFL rules bs, you know he have to make a football move which was 50/50 maybe.

If it was challenged , they would've.

These are my sentiments also. The Steelers are not blowing away teams. They are keeping us in suspense but still winning handily and fans are dissatisfied. They are playing well on defense but it seems as though they could get more done on offense. If they continue to work out the kinks on offense, I like this team very much. But it is never going to be perfect, why do people expect perfection? The SuperBowl teams of the Chuck Noll era struggled and hardly blew every opponent out.

I think it's a bogus call, but the NFL is being internally consistent - "it's not a catch unless it's controlled all the way to the ground".

To me if the elbow or knee hits and receiver has control, it should be a catch. NFL disagrees ...

We got our "6-PACK" - time to work on a CASE!

HERE WE GO STEELERS, HERE WE GO!

Anyone who watches the Steelers with any regularity will tell you we've been allowing teams to hang around for years now. I can even remember back to the AFC championship game vs. the Jets at Heinz when we allowed the Jets back in. Basically nothing new with the offense so we should be used to it..
Difference today was our DEFENSE. While the offense stumbled all over itself, we laid the lumber and stayed physical.
I did get kind of scared when we starting playing zone and allowed Flacco to start hitting some spots.
One thing that is still concerning is the pre snap offensive penalties.

Brown's spazz attack on the sideline is a concern. It really is. WTF is his problem? Thinks he's being isolated by Roethlisberger?

Charlie Batch in the post-game show was talking about this and how it may be rectified tomorrow when they watch film.
Not able to see game today so is there a video of this sideline tantrum?

                        Thanks

We beat a struggling Rats team that's depleted to the tune of 17 players missing. We left them back in the game, albeit breifly. The second half offense looked clueless. This is a team that lost 44-7 to the Jags. Rats = Cleveland right now. Yay....
