Are you asking because you don't know the answer?

All 3 of those guys missed preseason games for obvious reasons but Ben was healthy and under contract.

really? How is this even a question?

I don't care who Ben is throwing too... get a few reps vs opponents to keep sharp.

If Ben played in those games I wouldn't wonder if it was rust on his part. I hate to use Brady but I'm pretty sure that guy was playing into the 3rd quarter in the 3rd game.

I expect any player who is healthy and under contract to play at least one series in the first 3 games.

I know the answer. If Ben is rusty for not playing in the preseason. Then that might be the reason we are seek g bell and Bryant (year off included) as being Not up to par

Ps. Ball was designated a franchise player so his contract was.set. he chose when to.sign it

I don't care what their record is..

              He has 8 TD's and 0 INT's and a 121 passer rating.

Simply put, Ben isn't playing well right now and has admitted he is too focused on one player.

Receivers can only catch the ball, they can't throw it. Plenty of passes not on target. A little irritating Roethlisberger says AB is the only WR he trusts to be in the right spot. He needs to get reps with the other guys if they are going to improve. Otherwise this offense is as one-dimensional as some less talented ones.

I'm sorry but having Roosevelt Nix running pass patterns isn't good.
Except days when Roethlisberger is a no-show for practice.

Imagine where we'd be if the team listened to folks on this board who said that we should not have extended AB to a big money deal, because of his "me first" celebration penalties, or Facebook Live in the locker room, or because championship teams don't pay top dollar for wideouts.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

                          Haha.. true.

I will play devils advocate though and suggest Ben might be a better QB when he isn't looking for AB before he breaks the huddle. Instead of forcing it to AB Ben might see the wide open guys underneath on some plays.

Ben has missed a lot of passes this year, no doubt. The only good deep ball he threw against the Bears was the one that MB dropped.

Other than that, his deep ball was very off target.

I also think that Haley is part of the problem more than he is a potential solution.

                              Three possibilities:

                              1) BR is not seeing the whole field because of AB tunnel vision
                              2) BR is seeing the whole field but ignoring the reads
                              3) BR believes there is only one WR worth throwing to, which means why did the Steelers bother keeping MB in the fold?

I don't think you can chalk it up to throwing to just 1 receiver:

                                Brown 14 targets
                                Bryant 8 targets
                                JuJu 6 targets
                                Bell 6 targets
                                James 4 targets
