I agree. I wonder if our O-line is also considered top 5 by any talking heads. Or if we've actually performed to a top 5 level statistically so far (offensively).

We got our "6-PACK" - time to work on a CASE!

That was simply a great one handed catch by a 6' 6" Pro Bowl player...it was by no means an easy completion...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

Was it a game changer? I mean, it was an incredible one handed catch. The other guys get paid too.

Agreed Starlifter. They just need to learn to hide the PI better like the better CBs in the league. There are some very handsy CBs that seem to get away with a lot because they make it look so incidental.

                Please..

No one is being negative. I'm being realistic in the fact that we won't be up against Mike Glennon type QB's in the playoffs. And last I checked, the superior QB won every playoff game last year. I'm looking at the end game .

I love an aggressive defense, but when speaking in terms of the defenses that this franchise has produced in its historic past, the difference between aggressive and reckless usually means discipline... or lack there of. After 2 games we lead the league in penalties with 25. Granted this total is a team effort and doesn't fall only on the defensive side of the ball, but we have kept our opponents drives churning with so many of these PI calls.

Well put. There seemed to be fewer penalties in the second game, a good sign if true.

Whoever wrote this article (in the OP) should feel ashamed for their general suckitude in assessing a football team ...

The penalty total was nearly halved from last week. And there were no PIs in this latest game, so improvement is happening.

The Steelers currently hold the longest streak of most consecutive games with a takeaway at 14 games, dating back to the 2016 season. The Jacksonville Jaguars are the next closest team with an eight-game streak. This is the Steelers longest streak since they had 15 straight games with a takeaway in the 2004-05 seasons.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
