I was at the game. It was hot, and I was only sitting there. When Villanueva was able to come back into the game, Hubbard then replaced Gilbert, who was also dealing with some heat-related issues. Is he fat-cattin' it as well?
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Sadly, as America gets fatter and fatter, we are going to see a LOT more malingering like this.

It's being reported AV was ill and dehydrated. Decided he would make a go of it for the team anyway. It was a tall task even if fully healthy, but pretty confident he will put together better performances as the season moves along.

AV is possibly one of the toughest most badassed individuals on the planet. If he could not go, I am willing to believe he could not go. Later when he could he did. End of story.

Pretty much silly for anyone to say Villanueva ever would dog it. Yup, like you said ... end of story.

Same thing, I believe. Heat-related issues. Hubbard moved over from LT to RT once AV was able to re-enter the game.

His first two games certainly have not been his best, but he had a really tough matchup against the Vikings. If, as reported, he was also ill and dehydrated leading up to the game, I'm sure that contributed to it. I haven't seen anything to indicate a lack of effort.
