    FA performance, game 1

How do you guys think our FAs did? Not a lot of time to practice and learn the plays, they got signed so late.

    1) Haden - got a sack! I think I saw him get burned on one play (called back or bad throw)? How was the rest of his coverage?
    2) McDonald - one or two catches?
    3) Wilcox - I didn't notice ...?

One thing is, they're only going to get better as they become more comfortable in our system.

We got our "6-PACK" - time to work on a CASE!

Wilcox lead with and targeted the Browns head on the 4th and 2 TD. Big hits are nice, that was foolish.

Just on special teams I think he was in on a tackle. But I have to be honest I was roofing my house while listening to the game

I don't think so...it was more of a bang-bang play and a bad call by the ref...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

I saw several questionable hits when I watched his highlights video on YouTube. So I'm not surprised, this one I did not see because, unfortunately, I could not watch the second half. I'm not totally surprised by the score. If not for the special teams we may have lost. I think I predicted 21-16. I sure hope Tuitt is alright.

wilcox hit looked like textbook targeting to me. Will be surprised if he isn't fined for it

at least its on tape for the next team to see and think about

haden was out of position once or twice but certainly looked like the upgrade we needed

VM jury still out, good on JJ for stepping up

Wilcox hit like a truck. I like the look of the secondary.

The one deep ball Haden was supposedly beat on... the D was in Cover 2...meaning he was supposed to have safety help over the top. The browns ran the right play for cover 2... meaning they had a WR/TE running a seam route, along with the WR vert on the sideline... basically putting the safety in conflict. The safety made a late break on the ball.. I thought Haden had a great game. Wilcox looks like he will be a solid contributor once he gets settled down.

                              SECTION 5 - PASS INTERFERENCE

                              ARTICLE 1. DEFINITION
It is pass interference by either team when any act by a player more than one yard beyond the line of scrimmage significantly hinders an eligible player’s opportunity to catch the ball. Pass interference can only occur when a forward pass is thrown from behind the line of scrimmage, regardless of whether the pass is legal or illegal, or whether it crosses the line

ARTICLE 2. PROHIBITED ACTS BY BOTH TEAMS WHILE THE BALL IS IN THE AIR
Acts that are pass interference include, but are not limited to:

Contact by a player who is not playing the ball that restricts the opponent’s opportunity to make the catch.
Playing through the back of an opponent in an attempt to make a play on the ball.
Grabbing an opponent’s arm(s) in such a manner that restricts his opportunity to catch a pass.
Extending an arm across the body of an opponent, thus restricting his ability to catch a pass, and regardless of whether the player committing such act is playing the ball.
Cutting off the path of an opponent by making contact with him, without playing the ball.
Hooking an opponent in an attempt to get to the ball in such a manner that it causes the opponent’s body to turn prior to the ball arriving.
Initiating contact with an opponent by shoving or pushing off, thus creating separation.
