Irma is rolling into Atlanta. Schools are closed and the big trees are starting to look like those blow up stick guys you see at car dealerships. Power for now but expecting to lose it at some point tonight. Nothing like FL but trees have started to come down around town. City is asking people to please not be driving on the roads.

I've got water and bourbon. I can survive for a good long time!!

Sunny weather here today in orlando. Lots of tree branch clean up and roof inspections. Many folks locally could be a week or more without power. East coast and west coast seem to have it worse even though eye shifted toward center of state. Once the eye got above land it no longer had energy from the warm water and started to weaken but still pretty bad until early this morning

        Good luck to all

Hey Guys! I was scrolling through the threads and about to post something to let you know we made it through, when I saw this thread. I am humbled SASF, so thank you. It's been a long 4 days of prepping, hunkering, and cleaning up, but as Ovi stated, we kicked it's butt! I thought Ovi was fairly safe when I dropped that in the chat and thought myself and jbirt were in the direct path of a Cat 4 beast. Irma didn't realize our area is protected by ancient Indian spirits and they came through with a hail mary at the end. No power, no significant damage, and exhausted, but thrilled to be typing this in the dark. Also glad to see Floyd is back and came through well, Good stuff guys-which is better than I can say for the game I listened to on the radio. Love to chat more, but I have to now do coursework in the dark. Thanks again! - Skip

We've been trying to find a way for him to access his old account since around draft time, but he actually started posting again as Furious about 2 months ago.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Dude--the problem is with more than 2 kids you lost the ability to play man coverage a long time ago and are now forced to play a soft LeBeau zone scheme which we know doesn't work.

Great to have you back. Glad to hear you are doing well after our visit this weekend from Irma

Hey everybody. What a week. After that B Irma followed us up the west coast of Florida we hunkered down in a hotel in Kissimee and rode out the worst of it. I came back to Key Largo on Tuesday as soon as they started letting residents in. My home stood up well, not a lick of damage. I like to think it had to do with the Steelers plaque that hangs on my front porch. Very fortunate, unlike so many who were flooded or lost their roof's. Some places burned to the ground from structure fires. Just got power back today. Key Largo looks like a scene from Hunger Games. Twisted metal, trees uprooted and broken everywhere. Billboards and business signs strewn by the roadside. And to think we in the upper keys were the "fortunate" ones. The lower half of the Keys are devastated. We will rebuild we will come back. It will take time. 3-5 years to see a return to normalcy. A long road to hoe. #keysstrong. GO STEELERS

Holy cow, steelerkeylargo, dang! Glad you and yours are OK, I heard the Keys got it worst. Good wishes to everyone over in Fla and the rest of the country in Irma's way.

Got to be her in the Sunshine State to really see the best of the American people all helping each other out after the storm. I attribute it In the Orlando area to so many of the residents who trace their roots back to Western Pa
