FYI, Haden has been listed on the injury report 22 weeks in the last 3 seasons..... he is of little value if he is not on the field....

If he's on the field, though... hes still a top tier corner by many accounts... and likely the piece we will need to be legitimate contenders.

Wow!!!! I'm shocked at the money. They must be pretty certain he is healthy

Wonder how this effects an extension for Tuitt

My hope, especially post-Ladarius Green, is that the Steelers considered the medicals on Hayden and found him to be free of any major issues.

I've heard he's played in every pre season game so far. Must be confident after the medical exam. Hopefully Tuitt is still in the cards.

Id say they learned their lesson after L. Green.

So every player that has ever been injured is now comparable to Ladarius Green

Did anyone say or even imply that?

I think most were excited to see green after that signing and only to get a slight feel for what a player he could of been if it were not for all the time off due to injuries.

So, assume Joe stays healthy. He's better than either Kirkpatrick or Gilmore (whom we were both reportedly interested in) and we got him a lot cheaper than either of them. Huge pickup if he stays healthy (which after all is the big thing for every team or player in the NFL--it's a contact sport). Mega pickup.

kudos to the FO for recognizing and trying to fix a glaring weakness. this team doesn't have the luxury of taking a wait and see approach in the secondary like so many here advocate. haden is a clear upgrade over cockrell by any measure unless both his legs are broken

im really impressed with the moves in the last 36 hours

heck yes Eddie. Gotta look at the big TE from San Fran also.. could be a solid pick up.
