    James Conner

In just a few carries, I really like what I have seen. Look at the shiftiness and burst. We will be fine with this kid. Write it down!

Yes, he certainly has more pep than Touissant. Touissant is definition of the word pedestrian. I have no idea how he's lasted with the team even this long. I have as much physically ability as he does!
I wasn't hired for my disposition.

I wanted to see Conner against Atlanta's 1st team defense, not sure why we have to see Toussaint at all.

he seems quick and quite shifty. would like to see him not go down on first contact. hopefully gets a bunch of touches second half

                FOR-ever...

Regarding Conner, his hands kinda stink. I don't think he has naturally that bad of hands, but he dropped two easy ones.

And on another different note, I'm concerned about Hargrave. Second time I believe, I heard him leave with concussion like symptons. I thought I heard he had a similar thing in camp or in the Giant game. Can't remember.

indeed.. I am willing to write it off as 'jitters' from it being his first game, and missing time in camp. I saw enough today to be optimistic

if connor stays healthy, that 14.4 million savings and 2 first round picks area gonna be nice

More good then bad but considering rookie jitters he passed the first test. Drops were ugly but I don't recall any drops at Latrobe so we'll have to see if that gets cleaned up. Blitz pick up looked solid as he showed he could anchor and obviously he'll have to pass protect well when 7 is in.
Ran the power counter well and was shifty enough and has enough burst, some questioned that aspect but seeing it live at camp and watching it today he has the skill set to play and play well here.

Conner has the physical tools. But remember his stats came against future " Taco Bell " and " Kentucky fried Chicken " workers. Lets not get too ahead of ourselves just yet.

if that s the case then we have much bigger problems since our first string(mostly) defense got torched by taco bell workers

I like his running style- single cut and up the field!
His receiving skills are absolute $hit which is a major concern.
Based on ATL game, he obviously makes the 53 but Knile is #2 behind LB.
