Golden as our #3 is a major concern.

I wonder what the reason was for our free agent signing at safety, Damion Stanford, to not show up for camp. I assume he's retiring.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

a huge liability. The guy always seems lost in coverage.

I wonder if gay or Sensabaugh will get some reps at safety. I can't believe the team is comfortable with Golden as the primary back up

A revisit following on to the Edmunds discussion; LOL reading how wrong some were back then.

phillyesque nailed Hilton. Ovi struck out on Burns as 'steal of the draft'....

The draft is like a box of chocolate.... never know what you're going to get....

              Don't make stuff up.

Ovi is never wrong. The only prediction he ever made on the draft is the call that Jarvis was gonna be a bust.

(We ALWAYS have such a great recall of the times we are right.)

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

Remember Eli Apple from the same draft only FAR HIGHER pick than Burns. He just got cut.

THIS IS WHY I like going free agent secondary. We aren't as dumb as people think drafting secondary. Aside from extremely high picks you just don't know what you are getting.

Who in the league consistently drafts DBs well beyond the top of the first round?

Compare that to receiver or RB. They are so plentiful. Far easier to replace in the draft.

This season, WE HAD NO FIRST ROUND PICK and we could choose between MULTIPLE options to upgrade either of those positions.
