    The Battle at RB

Is this perhaps the most boring battle of camp? Other than when Bell shows up is there any drama?

Seems like we keep Bell, Conner, and Nix for sure. Only battle maybe is the #3 Toussiant or Kniel Davis?

    Thoughts?

I think Davis gets the nod...even when Bell was out, Toussaint barely touched the ball...he was given a chance on KOs, but did not look good...Davis, OTOH, ran one back in the playoffs...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

Yup...Bell is RB1, Conner is RB2, and Nix is FB1. The RB3 spot should boil down to the better ST player, and that leans toward Knile Davis right now over Fitzy Touissant. If Bell holds out of camp for an extended period, maybe we bring in another affordable veteran RB option, unless Terrell Watson, Trey Williams, or Brandon Brown-Dukes shines early on in Latrobe.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

I think Davis is the clear pick over Touissant because he can do more.

        Kinda interested in Terrell Watson

Davis has value on KR and special teams. He beats out Touissant.

That is it in a nutshell. Fitz was number three on the depth chart, but number 2 most of the season due to DW's injury. THEY GAVE HIM 14 CARRIES IN 16 GAMES!! I'd bet that most 3s get more carries in a season than that, but spending most of the year as a 2? Shows that they have very little confidence in him.

Davis is your third string RB.
