They don't they need an OLB?
Can't help but wonder why GB passed on TJ?

If you recall their Secondary was their downfall last year.
Then they lost Micah Hyde....it was no secret the Packers were going secondary early and often. Here We Go Steelers, Here We Go...

It is interesting, considering they do have a need there and they later took Vince Biegel (Watt's LB mate from Wisconsin) later on in the draft. It says that they did their HW on one or both, liked Biegel in a certain round, and they could let Watt go by with that knowledge in mind.
I'm not too worried about it though. The only thing that concerns me is Watt's knee problems in college. Otherwise, he has the physical tools: particularly, long arms and large hands with great times in short-area quickness (3-cone, shuttle). And he knows what it takes to be a professional. He really looks like a steal, based on (I guess) his limited game experience.I wasn't hired for my disposition.Comment

At OLB, although they lost Julius Peppers, they still have Clay Matthews and re-signed Nick Perry, so their starters are set and they have their 3rd round pick from last year, Kyler Fackrell, as their primary backup at OLB.
At CB, they lost Micah Hyde and Sam Shields and brought back Davon House. Recent high picks Damarius Randall and Quintin Rollins have been disappointments.
They could have stayed put at 29 and grabbed an OLB, who would have been a depth player early in his career, but opted instead to trade back 4 spots to get the first picks of day two and day three, which they used to fill their biggest need for a big CB in Kevin King who likely has a good shot to start right away for them with the first pick in round 2, and also got their OLB depth pick in this trade with Watt's Badger teammate Vince Biegel as somewhat of a bonus pick with the first pick in round 4.Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.Comment

Or not.. Watt lasted until 30 for a reason. Not sure who they drafted but I believe it was secondary. Nothing wrong with addressing the secondary if they feel it was a bigger need.
Obviously we felt differently but it could work out well for both teams. Also think they got the other OLB from Wisconsin and I heard he is pretty good.Steelers 27
