Did you guys see Connor (on his highlight package) apparently playing LB or rush end or something one game? He even looked good doing that!
I wasn't hired for my disposition.

Yes, and you are one of the few here that does their homework. I'm well more than willing to revisit initial impressions and reassess. I dug up everything I could find and left with a very different impression. I believe we got ourselves a steal. I actually moved up Conner to the 5th best RB in the draft.

LMAO, some of us our PITT fans and watched his whole college career and already knew he was a beast.

Seems deceptively fast for such a large back, probably faster than Bell. One thing for sure is that the Conner/Bell combo is gonna bruise a lot of teams this year. He knows the endzone at Heinz well, that's a plus!

Awesome compliment to Bell. Opposing linebackers are gonna get flattened by this kid after Leveon has them on their heels all day waiting for him to pop through the hole. Looks like no hesitation from Mr. Conner

"he is known for his YAC..."

For a big guy that doesn't have elite speed, this will be the key to his success in the NFL.

He reminds me of Bettis with his quick feet and Emmit Smith with his elbows. Emmit didn't have a stiff arm, it was more so an elbow that would hook behind a defender to get to the second level. I noticed that love a lot in these videos. Also got a chance to really see how many pounds he shaved off from his early years. I'm real time it wasn't as noticeable or maybe we were just happy to see him playing again.

The kid runs with power but he is good at avoiding the DL and delivers punishment to the secondary. I can't wait to see him this preseason.

but Connor also has a stiff arm. Clemson defenders can tell you all about it.

Exactly, I like him as "the closer" taking the load off when we go "turtle"
I really think that after three quarters of LBs "patient" style, mr hit the hole hard will be a tough adjustment for defenses

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

He wasn't faster than Bell when Bell was 20 pounds heavier. Conner ran a 4.65 40. Bell ran a 4.6.
