Honestly....go back and take a really good look at his only 2 years at Cal, and consider the talent he had as opposed to what Kizer had..and see how Kizer performed as opposed to what Aaron Rodgers did...where was Rodgers that much better ? They both played 25 games...Rodgers had 43 TD's and 14 Interceptions. Kizer had 48 TD's and 19 Interceptions. Both had similar completion percentages. And Kizer is a way better Athlete and Runner. So....was Rodgers a Bad pick for Green Bay ???

Yeah, I stopped reading at Aaron Rodgers. He doesn't have anything to do with Kizer's ability to play at the pro level.

Here's one of those cases where statistics can be misleading. You have to watch them play. Kizer might be a "way better athlete and runner" ... but he's far behind when it comes to recognition and decision-making, two qualities absolutely critical to success at QB at the professional level.

No kidding. You realize when someone hasn't even looked at the game tape on these guys...merely reading stats and drawing conclusions. Kizer looks nothing like Rodgers. Kizers decision making is bordering on horrific at times. His "accuracy" is so bad at times that I have a 4th round grade on him.

Not defending Kelly, but he was telling the truth. Kizer isn't ready now and may never be ready to be a good NFL QB

One NFL reporter said that even though they're trying to keep it quiet, that the Steelers love OLB Derek Rivers from..Youngstown State ( I think )..and that he might be their target...maybe even in round 2. Just to let you guys know....now, off for lunch

No surprise there...if they don't take an edge rusher at #30, and if Jordan Willis doesn't make it down to 62, then Derek Rivers has always been a 2nd round possibility for us (and if not, then possibly Tyus Bowser or Tarrell Basham).
