Who's "these guys"? 3 of the 4 first picks will be defensive in a deep defensive draft. It works well for us. Three defensive guys in the Top 105. More than likely the OLB or CB left for the Steelers at 30 will provide any more significant impact then the OLB & CB in the 2nd & 3rd cause that is where it's deep. Minimal drop off.

Now...If a CB OR OLB falls through the crack graded close to a Njoku...Then jump on him. Just don't see it unless the baggage drops him. Don't eat the scraps when a Prime cut is on a plate at another table.

These guys is Njoku and JJ.

I say draft CB or OLB first and then address TE later on or use what we have.

I also don't think Njoku is the truth.

They are just as important as any non QB position you want to throw.

Listen. Real Simple. There is only 1 defensive starter not returning in 2017. The FO didn't have confidence in the backup ST LB VW so the tried to land Hightower. That should mean something. Green couldn't return to the lineup after 5 weeks after a concussion which included playoffs & a Conference Final. Routine hit. That's all I'm saying. Cards close to chest.

In the first, don't draft position, draft the best football player. When the are the same..Life is good. We are picking 30. The 5th, 6th, or 7th OLB-CB doesn't exactly scream difference maker. 10-12 other teams like 4-5-6 players better at their position. TE is a need. I don't think they are confident in Green at all.

Njoku on shorts backed up what was seen in Njoku in pads. The 20 year old didn't come on the radar after the combine it was before. 43-698-8 last year. If he goes back and exceeds that he can be a Top 15 and still be 21 at draft. Kaaya leaving so good move.

I think TE is a want. We don't need another TE to have a dynamic offense

I'm tired of the speculation, I just want this draft to get started already.

What I want, what I would like to see one time just for fum is have a draft be like one of those " Speed Dating " events Have the ENTIRE Draft done in 1 1/2 hours. Each team in round 1 gets 30 seconds after the first pick to make their pick. Then in rounds 2-3, 20 seconds. And from rounds 4-7.....well lets just say your team better have a guy in GREAT Cardio condition cause...you have 8 seconds to get card up to the podium That is what I want....Super Fast NFL Draft ( LOL )..Oh, BTW, each NFL team gets 5 Time outs...in case they wanna stop the clock, and get a trade completed...but 5 TO's...that is it!

                  That...is my Dream fans

Agreed. Especially with Bryant coming back.

Signing Green last year showed you the FO thought it was a need. If Green is viewed as unreliable..It is a need again.

and going 11-5 and making the AFCCG without him showed it wasn't.

You could say the same thing about DB and OLB...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

except they lost (are losing) guys in the rotation at those positions. Moreover, do you really think the team lost to the Pats** because they didn't have a TE... or because they couldn't stop Tom Brady?

That proves it! Lol You mean how we went 5-1 when he was in the lineup? And lost against the Pats cause he wasn't? Lol If you can't see the cause effect a dynamic TE brings to the Haley offense That's fine. The FO did.
