I believe whoever we take in the first two rounds should be players who are suppose to start or at least dominate time for the majority of that position. In the 3rd round weather a guy starts or not can be dicey.
Especially for what we need on defense in hopes of a Super Bowl appearance. What do you guys expect from our first three picks?

im not sure an edge guy will start at all this year. i can see him rotated in with harrision tho, maybe getting equal snaps
a safety will be back up
a cb can/should start
an ilb would have to be lights out to take the starting job from williams to start the year and maybe supplant him by the 3/4 mark, at best

I'm hoping it's TJ Watt....But I'm thinking he doesn't make it past GB. I think that's their BPA as Clay Matthews is running out of time.

CB or OLB has a chance to start early. CB battles with veteran Cockrell and OLB rotates with JH. S sits a year behind Mitchell and his $8M+ cap hit. ILB battles with VW in camp and has to convincingly supplant him.

Some safteies like Peppers and Buda Baker would see the field a lot in sub packages.

A TE like Njoku would most likely get plenty of playing time as well.

As far as defense is concerned , if we are going to upgrade that defense, we have a good opening three games to give that new Olb and cornerback some good experience since those Qb's will be crappy.
