    DeVille does The Ville

i'll keep this quick. In the past, I know I've mentioned players from Louisville and which ones i like and ones I don't. I don't know that I've ever done a full thread, but, we should really all do this.

A couple of quick Steelers examples - loved Will Gay, hated Gerrod Holliman (though he led NCAA in Ints). Obviously there are quite a few that have landed on other teams (loved Elvis Dumervil, for example) - i've been mostly on point (just general experience of watching your alma mater; we should all do this annually - could be fun).

    Without further adieu..

    PLAYERS I WOULD WANT
Cole Hikutini, TE - only Louisville player i'd actually LIKE to have; catches everything in his area. goes to get the ball. may need strength. He'd be a good fit; not blazing fast (4.78 40 time). Even my wife says, "he'd be such a good fit. He's not Heath, but, who is? He's close!"

WOULDN'T BE OPPOSED IN THE CORRECT ROUND
DeAngelo Brown, DT - STRONG. VERY STRONG. solid stuffer, no pass rush. considering the team already hsa an NT, would be a good rotation NT.
Devonte Fields, OLB - Transfer from TCU as conference freshman of the year. Consistently underperformed given size/speed ratio. Expected him to be better than he turned out. worthy of a LATE-round flier in hopes tha the puts it together (maybe he just doesn't care)

WORTH A LOOK (as a UDFA)
Jamari Staples, WR - tall, lanky WR, solid hands, decent speed; would likely beat out Coates because he can actually catch the ball
    Keith Kelsey, ILB
    - would get lost in the shuffle. would be a depth/rotation ILB for steelers - maybe just special teams; slowish. solid, hard worker, but, limited athleticism will hurt
Brandon Radcliff, RB - good runner. ball security issues got him benched, but, is a strong fireplug in the MJD mold

    NO INTEREST AT ALL
Josh Harvey-Clemons, SS - Mike Mitchell all over again. Sub-par coverage, brings the wood when tackling
James Quick, WR - record holder in KY for the 100 meters; pedestrian 40 time at combine. idol is mike wallace (and why he wears #17). You'll probably all remember him stepping out in the Clemson game at the 2 yard line -- short of a first down. Simply doesn't seem to have much passion; probably should've stayed with track
    2013 MNF Executive Champion!
