DHB shook that rap when he came to Pitt. The jury is still out on Coates and MB.

I was so excited when he caught that ball! I'm a huge Buckeyes fan as well, but for a split second I did feel for that CB....a split second....I couldn't quit laughing with excitement....

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

          TCFCLTC-
The Coach Formerly Considered Less Than Cowher

I think it was a article on Depot that talked about some of the 30 visits are guys the Steelers did not end up drafting but brought them in during FA as they "know" the players. So checking these guys out now can pay off in the future even if not drafted.
Also some of these visits are for the "back up" pick. These guys could be rated by the Steelers right about were they pick but so are other guys at other positions. But if there say 3a guy is gone they have to have 3b,3c, etc. Just doing there homework and maybe even playing games. But I always wonder how much games are really played? Every scout on the same team to scouts/coaches on other teams rate the same player differently. Same as the fans and media do.

Even if everything goes well.with Bryant reinstatement. I doubt we see him here for a 2nd contract

That could be the case and I think that is the most likely reason for all the WR visits. I don't think it's because of the weed smoking or suspensions, I think the Steelers realize he will be a hot free agent and we probably won't be able to lock him up long term.

Unless the NFL approves marijuana use as pain regulation strategy that is a safer alternative to overprescribing narcotic pills or routinely injecting numbing agents to get players on the field faster.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

It makes no sense to me other than federal legality to dismiss opiate use and condemn marijuana use.

                          It's an insane argument..

One drug that is proven to cause cancer is legal (tobacco), but another drug that is less addictive and is a pain management tool, isn't.

Don't get me wrong; I don't smoke ANYTHING! I don't believe in recreational drug use whatsoever. But if you've legalized one that is a proven killer, you can't make a rational argument against the other.

I haven't used anything stronger than a tylenol in nearly a decade, work in the field of addiction medicine and fully support legalization of MJ.

Do we know if MB's suspension is strictly for the hippy lettuce, or is there more he is doing. Because that really is a damn shame, if only for the wacky tobacky.
