Guess there's a reason the Browns are the Browns.Comment

They have over $100M in cap space this year (and seemingly only interior o-linemen want to play there), so they can fit in his bloated 2017 salary under their cap this year without any problem. Then they can cut him after the season with only a minor dead money hit for 2018. And they get a nice 2nd round pick next year for their troubles. It's actually somewhat of a shrewd use of their massive cap room right now, since they aren't going to find too many elite players who are willing to play in Cleveland in 2017, so a lot of that cap room was going to go unused anyway.Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.Comment

After looking at it doesn't make much sense.I get they want a body at QB to hold down the fort till the QB they draft is ready, but they could have gotten someone just as bad lol as Osweiler for alot cheaper plus the 2nd rounder they got isnt until 2018Comment

Texans had to give the Browns a 2nd rounder to take Osweiler. In this years draft, that's a good pick!!!!!!!!!!!!Comment

Colts signed John Simon to a 3-year deal. He's one I'd hoped the Steelers could get, but I'm sure they figured the price tag of around $4.5M per was too steep. Oh, well, guess I'm going to have to revise my sig.Comment
