Steelers 2017 AFC Favorite

That was my first thought as well. As long as they are there, they are the favorites. The article did have some good points. If you want to beat NE in the playoffs, you need to earn the #1 seed in the regular season, find corners that can disrupt NEs WRs, and find players that can rush the passer.Comment

Seriously though, why in the world (since we don't exactly have those things) do they think Steelers will go to SB and not **? Is the NFL going to a new form of digital security in the visiting locker rooms??

It's hard to repeat so I see why we are the favorite. Usually the loser in the AFC Championship has a good shot the next year if they don't have significant injuries.
I always felt like we were a year away due to our D and especially once I heard Bryant was out for the year.
I think most realistic Steeler fans had us making the AFCCG this year, not winning it all.Steelers 27

they're just looking for clicks, and they know a lot of Steelers' fans will click on a story that says they are the favoriteComment

I'm not responding to this asinine article, I'm responding on the 0% chance that Mike Tomlin stumbles upon this board:
You sir, are an idiot. When you told the press (who asked how you would be able to beat the *), "They've never beaten me..." I believed you. Same on me.
Little did I know you'd employ the same STUPID game-plan vs. a QB who has a 50-0 TD-INT ratio against us. I would've been much more sympathetic, if you did anything different. Instead, it was the same ass-whooping I (and every Steeler fan) has had to endure these 15 years. I hope that next year (if we play them), you at least keep the game within four touchdowns. That's not too much to ask.I wasn't hired for my disposition.Comment

The problem with that is... When the cheaters see how you attacked them in the regular season, they do something different in the post season.Comment

One could have a legitimate argument that OAK is closer to SB ready than the Steelers. Sans Carr's injury they could have inflicted some damage in the playoffs.Comment
