The Broncos seem to be the only ones willing to fight the Patriots.

So, who would you (and San Antonio) rather bring in as HC that is (1) currently available and (2) gives us a better chance to win while Ben in still playing?

People it's the coach's first and then the QB 2nd....

Belichick plays the other coaches like you play texas holdem...your playing the coach not the actually players...
Play what you think Tomlin is going to do and you win...Tomlin is to prediable period!!!

In the last 10 meeting the Steelers are 2-8 with the last meeting being an embarrassing beat down in all phases. And watching the adjustments made during a game that theoretically should have been over was amazing (in a sad way since it's a team I hate). Its a tough reality to face. For a decade the Pats have owned the Steelers and what's going to change?
Sorry Ghost, I probably didn't quote the right post.

And why does Colbert get such a free pass from everyone while Tomlin takes a ton of heat? Colbert hasn't gotten the talent up to snuff in this secondary since Troy left. Colbert is as much to blame.

And the entire team buys in to Brady as able to do any damn thing he wants to do at any damn time (because apparently it's true). Unless Brady somehow has a P Manning level loss of ability I don't see how the Steelers get by NE until he retires.
Atlanta GIFTED them the Super Bowl with 3 dumb pass calls.
                1. The sack/fumble on 3rd and 1 in your own territory (seems like roughly 8-9 min left in game).
                2. The sack backing them up to the edge of FG range with ~4 minutes left. I had just texted a friend (Falcons fan) saying "run until you don't get first downs, kick the FG, go up 11 and dare them to drive the length of the field twice on your defense twice with 2 minutes left"
                3. The hold on the next play, a pass that also should never have been called. Run a draw, pick up 5 and give the guy a 47 yard FG. He's a good, solid kicker.

I think you're exaggerating. Belichick is the best coach in the NFL history. Tomlin is right at the top of the next tier. Nobody owns the Steelers except the Patriots who own everybody, and they have the start of a good secondary with the addition of Artie Burns and Sean Davis. Cockrell is heady and solid but not a stud.

BEFORE the ball was snapped on each of those plays, I asked my father every time, "why are they in shotgun right now?". One 3rd and 1 up 16 points midway through the 4th quarter, with a RB who was averaging over 8 yards per carry to that point, you run the freaking ball. With the ball in FG range up 8 points with 4 minutes and change to go, you run, run, run then kick the FG to go up 11 points, and either bleeding the clock down close to the 2 minute warning or forcing NE to use up all of their timeouts. Kyle Shanahan should have been MVP for NE, because Brady had no chance at a comeback if ATL's moron O.C. had even a remedial understanding of how to run clock at the end of games. San Fran is dumb for hiring him the day after the SB, because he doesn't understand basic tenets of football. Kyle Shanahan lost this game more than Brady & Belichick won it.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

"The Falcons lost because of bonehead play by the OC and QB at the end, when all they needed to do was just about nothing for 3 plays, kick a FG, and make it a 2-score game with hardly any time on the clock."

Yeah. Why didn't they do that? Now that is suspicious.

The Broncos finished 9-7 third in their division and missed the playoffs, they also lost to the Chiefs twice and QB Alex Smith who you called "garbage". But somehow they are the one team doing what needs to be done to beat the Patriots, I'm sure Brady and BB are quaking in their boots.

Just finished reading that interview with Peter King. All I can say is "typical Ben!" Trying to find a way to undermine his coaches and teammates, I supposed, to absolve himself from any of the blame. The dissappointing part is, if he thinks this is showing good leadership and a way to "fix" any issues, by engaging in a (weak) interview and dropping a bunch of (weak) "inuendos?" (SMH) How about sitting down with your coaches, GM, Brown and whoever you talk about it, bring your concerns to the table and try ironing them out like, real men! Come to think of it. Has Ben ever really got along with his HC and OC? Other than Arians, which I think that was more of a personal thing, than professional.

I think you forgot one; even blowing the above ATL still had a chance to seal the deal by simply preventing the 2 pt conversion at the end of regulation. How you don't have a guy glued on White at the goal line is simply incomprehensible given what he was doing during the game.

Lots of folks saying that, wondering if Shanahan on the take ... and they're saying that about the officials on that "TD" where White's knee was clearly down before the ball broke the plane--wasn't even a review on that play, was there?

I'm not saying I believe there was a fix, but there were some fairly suspicious elements, no doubt.
