    Steelers Resign Baker

    Yay.

    Steelers: Steelers re-sign Baker

    11/19/08 08:14 AM
    THE NEWS
The Steelers have re-signed receiver Dallas Baker, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. The club is yet to announce an adjoining move.
    Our View
Baker has been on the Steelers' active roster for eight games, but only caught one pass for six yards. He should continue to be ignored as a fantasy receiver.

Wasted spot. He will never be a significant contributor if even on the team next year.

I thought he was resigned to the practice squad that's it...he's on the active roster now?

Wide receiver Dallas Baker, cut by the Steelers Saturday so they could add rookie defensive back Roy Williams to the roster, was signed to the practice squad.

No need to bring him back to the active roster. If the Steelers are going to have a #4 WR who isn't going to catch passes, I'd rather it be Sweed so that he at least gets some reps.

How did we ever get Roy Williams before Dallas?

Oh, c'mon... I thought it was a clever statement.

                    before Dallas Baker?
                    Or
before the Dallas Cowboys (since they're collectiong all the Roy Williamses)

Yes, Humpal is on I.R. And it was Roy Lewis that we signed from the practice squad, not Roy Williams. That snippet was taken from a Ed Bouchette article, and as we all know, he is an uninformed douche.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Yeah I think that idiot got Roy Lewis and Travis Williams confused and put them together. He is such a terrible beat writer! How do you not know the players on the team Douchette? Flippin idiot!

Sorry, I thought they released Humpal after his injury.
