    Roethlisberger's Road Woes

Check it out. Roethlisberger is that the QB away that he is at home.
    20 TDs home
    9 TDs away

    QBR home=117
    QBR away=77

Can the Steelers really beat KC with half a BR? And before you say they did it already, keep in mind KC's defensive stars were not playing that day.

This game will really comes down to BR's decisionmaking. (and it a tight game it might also come down to Tomlin's decisionmaking... notice how he did not attempt 2pts in the last one....).

Tell me we shouldn't be worried....

I think it was Tunch who was saying that Ben plays a lot better against "Man" coverage and that's what KC plays a lot of. Of course, KC knows this and could change it up.

Ben is overdue for a solid Road Game. I won't be surprise to see him step it up this weekend. And if he does, we have the ultimate road game after that. How sweet it would be to enter the super bowl beating the cheaters.

Communication is key when ur in any stadium, especially a hostile environment. Most QBs have a lower QBR on the road.

Yes, that is why the visiting teams at Foxboro all have a special set of code words they use in that locker room - they believe they are being bugged. What an awesome "communication" system the Patriots** have installed there!

I wonder if the drop off in production is as bad with other QBs, especially those at the franchise level.

I'm not sure, but interesting enough for me to go look it up if it's easy

yes. most teams have better records (and therefore, I would presume, stats) at home then on the road.

What are Ben's playoff numbers on the road?

As we just witnessed, regular season stats don't mean sh#t.

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

                        (Thanks for posting, Ruth).

QBR in the 80s, 2TD and 1 pic over 3 road playoff games in the last 5 years.

                        We will need more.

Haa, trash this post. Playoffs stats

                          for those that don't want to wade through the numbers;

                          ..........Home. .... Away
                          QBR....80..............92
                          INTs.....14.............7
                          COMP%61.2.........62
                          PASS ATT 269......271

so "playoff Ben" is a different animal than regular Ben!

and remember some of those recent playoff games were with 3rd string RB's and the last one in Denver was without AB.

I feel pretty good about this weekend.
