Tomlin moment at Green Bay game?

Was that a Tomlin moment at the Green Bay game in the 3rd quarter?

4th and 3 and you go for it when....

your on your side of the field..
3rd quarter and your up in score..
your defense has kept the giants in check for the whole game and only allowing 6 points..
you failed to run for any yards the previous 3 plays and your 4th down play is a run..

what the hell.........was the fix in?

    When did Tomlin do that?

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

    TCFCLTC-
The Coach Formerly Considered Less Than Cowher

Maybe McCarthy's brain literally froze due to the cold weather.

That's the only explanation I can come up with for Tomlin leaving in his most essential players while up 3 scores with only a few minutes left in the game.

Similar weather in Green Bay and Pittsburgh on Sunday.

I got a Mountain Dew before kickoff that became a slurpee by the second quarter and became a popsicle in the second half.

Maybe their cerebrospinal fluid reacted the same way in those temperatures.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Frozen CSF - even more of a concussion risk. Was it a Diet Dew? The lack of glucose would make it even worse. The horror, the horror! How could you!

We got our "6-PACK" - time to work on a CASE!

It was 4th and 1, but still a risky call. He was probably thinking if they get a first down, go down and score, it will rip the Giants hearts out, but it back fired.

I didn't say he should of went for it, I only said what he probably was thinking. If the Packers get a first down, go down and score after the defense thought they where off the field, would of been crushing. It's a fine line, if they make it, wow what a call, if they don't coach had a brain freeze.

No...even if they made it, that was a brain freeze regardless.

Billicheat tried it against the Colts one year. Went for it on 4th from inside his own 40 instead of punting. They lost.
