I generally don't have an issue with Roethlisberger being out there. It's football and bad things can happen at any time, including the very first play of the next game. What would be the complaint if that happened? Odds are he was going to get knicked up at some point down the stretch.

+1. That's why I don't use seatbelts when I drive. And I don't worry about being wasted when I drive either.

Odds are, wasted or not, everybody's going to get a fender bender or worse at some point down the stretch. Why have an ulcer worrying about it?

When the game is not yet in hand, then you want your franchise QB on the field to try to win it for you. When the game is already in hand, you don't need to expose Him to the risk of injury.

As I said earlier, why would you keep him out of the Cleveland game, to protect him from injury, but then leave him in against the Dolphins in garbage time, when they'd have to score 3 TDs in 4 minutes to beat you? Makes no sense.

The thought process is that the QB protects himself...our QB has not matured to that point, apparently....

Even though the Steelers routed the Chiefs earlier in the season, I'm expecting this game to be a tough matchup. Andy Reid is 16-2 coming off a bye week in the regular season, and 4-0 coming off a bye week in the playoffs. In those playoff wins, his teams held three opponents with top-10 offenses to 6, 17, and 14 points.

Being able to rotate Justin Houston, Tamba Hali, and Dee Ford as pass rushing 3-4 OLB's is a good problem to have.

Marcus Peters is perhaps the most dangerous young ball hawking corner in the game, and I always really liked Eric Berry, even before he kicked cancer's @$$.

                You said it.
Their front seven is big, tough, and talented. Those pass-rushers, that hostile environment, I can definitely see them slow down our offense big-time. They've also had two weeks to prepare. (I'm sure they were thinking we would win, and spent more of their off week thinking about how to slow us down.)
I wasn't hired for my disposition.

I agree. This game will be as different as the two PIT-MIA games. Still expecting the Steelers to squeak out a win by a FG at the buzzer. Injuries, and of course Roethlisberger will determine how well it goes.

I don't see it happening. The only team I think we have problems with is NE.

Did you factor in 'away Ben'? His performance difference between home and away games is glaring:

                      Home Away
                      Completion % 71% 59%
Avg yds per att 8.5 6.7

                        This game scares me.
                        Most games scare me.
This game really scares me though.
KC thrives on other teams mistakes.
They scored 105 pts. off 33 takeaways ranked only behind Denver.
If we dont turn the ball over i believe we win..
We also need to keep the ball away from their return man Hill..He's a difference maker and can change a game in an instant

I am sure the smart guys in Vegas know this and hence why PIT is the dog.

The way this is going its setting up as a loss for the Steelers. Bens hurt, Joey Porter is probably still drunk, Andy Reid is a tough out coming off a bye and undefeated coming off a playoff bye (4-0). Their playing in K.C. which is a hard place to play as a visitor.

Of course I could list 20 positives for us, but it just has that feel. However, having that feel and watching the Steelers pull off that miracle is the greatest thing in all things that are great. So sayeth the shepard, so sayeth the flock!

Hopefully, not literally "AS" different, or this will not be a very happy place.
