What is the best/worst thing for us coming out of the 16th game?

I know there are a lot of seeding possibilities yet to be sorted out as I understand it, for example the Raiders could be either #1 (if NE** loses) or a Wild Card (if Chiefs win). Or, Dolphins move up to #5 seed, and NE** risks falling to #2 if Dolphins win.

I know we're locked into #3, but ... how does all that affect us in terms of future matchups? If Miami wins, who would we meet next Sunday? Etc.?

Seems pretty complicated, actually, I'm going to look for a playoff scenario site ...

    #2
As far as playing new England goes out would be better for them to stay#1 because in no scenario do we play them at home. So, if they stay number 1we would play them in the afcc game.
If they're #2 we'd play them in the divisional round, which is sooner, but still at their place. Depends on when you want to play the Cheats. I'm not worried about any other team.

      #3
best scenario is if miami loses and stays the #6. I want the fins at home with a backup QB - and then we go to Oakland with their backup QB. that sets up the pats at Gillette or the AFCCG at Heinz if they lose in the divisional round.

I see that as the most favorable path to houston.

        #4
Best scenario is the Raiders getting the #2 seed.
Miami at #6 would give us 2 backup QBs I'm a row.
Or at least a rusty Tannen I'll.
Good chance KC at #5 goes up to NE. Probably the only team other than Pitt who can beat N.E.
