    Proud of the offspring!

My son is in engineering school, had a question on his final, "describe the shape with the smallest surface area/volume ratio, and one with the biggest". So he answered sphere, and, I can't believe it: "Hypocycloid -- like the Steelers logo, Go Steelers!".

Dang, I'm proud of the dude! (He got a great grade on the final, hasn't gotten the test back to see if the answer was "engineering correct" (spikiness is the feature they were looking for), even though it is obviously the "best" answer for those with Black & Gold goggles)!

We got our "6-PACK" - time to work on a CASE!

HERE WE GO STEELERS, HERE WE GO!

Right on SASFan. Good on him! And, you taught this old dog what the logo actually was. In all my years, I never thought to look it up!
I wasn't hired for my disposition.

I can certainly appreciate the logic, but the hypocyloids in the Steelers logo are 2 dimensional shapes. Is a 3 dimensional version of a hypocycloid still called a hypocycloid? I'm picturing Leo DiCaprio spinning that top in the movie Inception. Something like that.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
