What are you right about exactly? You just condemn Tomlin for "trusting his gut" as opposed to relying on rational game planning and strategy. Well, are you suggesting that going for 2 is rational game planning and strategy or is going for 1 rational game planning and strategy? Just curious.
I suggested that Tomlin is more likely to plan some 2 point conversion plays specifically designed to attack an opponent's weaknesses when he has a full week to prepare to face that opponent, and is more likely to just kick PAT's when practice time is extremely limited due to the quick Sunday to Thursday turnaround.
Maybe I'm right, maybe I'm wrong, but I'm glad you know that you're right because everything Tomlin does is wrong.
