This will be Cleveland's super bowl. They'll pull out any stop they can find. But if we lose this, the season is over. We should win by more than 14 points.

lol...no doubt. It's not after a loss. It's after 5 losses and mostly to bad teams.
It's after every loss. Any loss means everyone should be fired according to this board. And, of course, any win means we are going to the Super Bowl. No exceptions.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

While people do overreact in frustration (myself included), I think it's safe to say at this point that the team is not living up to expectations. How bad do we have to finish before someone should be in the hot seat?

Not a fan of making changes mid-season or even after a bad season or two. It's a young defense still trying to find the new leaders.
They need a season or two to gel.... more disturbed by the Jeckyl and Hyde offense. You really have no way to tell week to week what is going to happen on that side of the ball.
btw, may I draw quiet attention to the team that grabbed the greatest DC ever for the Steelers now outranks them in nearly every defensive statistical category listed? DL... yeah, the game has passed him by... right.
The eagles don't look like quite the juggernaut like they did when we played them. Neither do the dolphins. The pats are still quality but the rats and the cowboys should have been wins.
So yes, a 4 game skid that takes us below .500 in a year when we should be SB contenders merits the replies on all these threads.

Not living up to expectations? You don't think not having a healthy Ben for 3 in a row had anything to do with that?
Dallas is a good team. A really good team. With a REALLY good o-line. And our Steelers played them to the wire.
Still in control of our own destiny with no help needed. They just need to take care of business.

Not sure thats accurate. Don't let the disgruntled minority become "the board". I think most of the members here are pissed now...and rightfully so.

The records of the teams the Steelers have lost to are 5-4, 5-4, 7-2, 5-4 and 8-1, respectively, and all three losses to teams with 5-4 records occurred on the road. These aren't bad teams that the Steelers have lost to.

They wouldn't be 5-4 if we'd beaten them.
Still it wasn't the fact that they lost. It was the completely soulless manner in which they lost. I didn't feel bad after the Pats game -- they fought. I was frustrated by the Dallas game, but it didn't ruin my week -- they fought till the end.
THe other three -- they just rolled over. Even the fins game -- it was going very poorly before Ben got hurt, and it didn't get better.
