    Hey Ben

Is it OK to panic now, fvckw-t?

This defense is a effen joke. How undisciplined are they? A guy breaks a long gain every week once they break the LoS. I don't know, because I'm no coordinator. But how the fvck do so many guys just break long runs on us every week? Is it the stupid Safeties? Is it a lack of gap control up front? Are the LBs just weak and slow?

This is maddening, and I'd love for Ben's fat but to go up there and tell us not to panic or say "its all on me" or "we lose as a team" BS.
I wasn't hired for my disposition.

Fake spike was awesome though. That wasn't the play called by Haley. Ben gave AB a thumbs up before taking the snap.

D is terrible Shoe. What is he supposed to say? They put up 30 points and it still wasn't enough.

The D is an absolute disgrace. Can't stop the run. Can't hold a lead. Outside a few guys they are all terrible. Hard to watch.

I know he played a very good game. I'm just mad is all. Seriously, what is the deal with this defense? We hear about what studs Cam and Tuitt are. Timmons is purported to be s solid a veteran as you can have. Jarvis and Chickillo are supposed to be sound run defenders at least. Shazier appears to be a real difference-maker. so what is going on? Our Safeties can't be completely to blame. People just are not being accountable.

We have the worst type of defense. We got what appears to be a indivdualistic defense, who apparetntly must freelance... otherwise, how else to explain so many HUGE breakdowns. And for a defense that must freelance that often, they have no one who can step up and make a play when it is needed.

If I were the Borwns, I'd be awfully confident. At least if I was their offensive coordinator.

The breakdowns are due in large part to inexperience, IMO, this is the exact reason that DCs around the league hesitate to put rookies on the field, particularly when you don't really have a standout veteran on that side of the ball. The Steeler offense can afford to use rookies and other young-uns because Ben knows what eff he is doing. That player does not exist on the defensive side of the ball and in particular on the back end where you can see the entire play unfold (Polamalu). So, what you get are rookie mistakes, I'm not surprised by this at all. Timmons is the closest thing to having a "Ben" type player on defense and he's described by the majority of fans as "steady and reliable".

Hey Ben. Casey Hampton, James Farrior, Troy Polamalu, etc aren't going to be walking through that tunnel again so you might as well work on your own inconsistent performances and plan to throw for 500yds and 6tds every week if you want to lead this sorry team to the playoffs.
Obviously the standard is the standard.

The defense is clearly in learning mode. I don't have a big issue with playing rookies on D, knowing that you'll have a few mistakes lead to big plays. The problem this year is the combination of things going wrong at the same time. The offense in Baltimore was as pathetic a showing as I've ever seen. The special teams mistakes were unacceptable.

If we played the whole season like we played yesterday, we'd be 6-3 IMO.

I wonder where the two teams would be if we swapped coaching staffs with New England...
