At the half, Browns have played a better game against Ravens than the Steelers did. How the Steelers lost against what is clearly a poor Baltimore offense is just mind-numbing.

The Steeler defense did a good job, if not for a 100-yard catch by Wallace. Especially when you consider how many three-&-outs they had to deal with in a row... it was ridiculous.
Now the Steeler offense? There you have a good argument. He1!, our best players basically crapped the bed. Ben was horrendous, Le'veonran into a stone-wall all day, and AB... the guy who was guarding AB was given a game-ball for what he did.I wasn't hired for my disposition. -

I can't see the Steelers re-upping MM's contract unless he is willing to take a huge haircut. On the otherhand, I'm not sure I see a great replacement on the roster right now either.Comment

Mitchell has a total of 10 missed tackles for the season... the secondary as a whole has more than 40. The defense has generally done as expected this season, but it is a far cry from the strong defenses of the past.

We'll need to take some of all that money we're reported to have, and maybe a hometown guy like Darrelle Revis will give us a big discount, to end his career with his hometown team, with a need at S, and championship aspirations.I wasn't hired for my disposition.Comment

There isn't (a replacement). I shudder to think of Sean Davis being our last line of defense too. Guy has to learn to tackle better, like Mitchell and Burns.
