    Mike Mitchell

Wonder how his "apologists" will defend his play yesterday?

Should be no apology for that. He had more bad angles than a Picasso.

Mitchell should apologize to the fans.

8 million next year, i think not.
He looked worse than 99% of the kids on my tackle team.

His biggest problem by far?? His play has rarely backed up his mouth. Guys like Peezy had a mouth, but it was backed by actions on the field.

Ouch... the gauntlet has been thrown. Will Mitchell pick it up for rd 2?

There is plenty of blame to go around... and I really dislike the way Mitchell overly celebrates his hits. But really, this guy isn't that big an issue. He's tough as nails and he does play physically. We can win with him. We just have no playmakers, to make guys like him (regular guys) in position to shine.
I wasn't hired for my disposition.

Steelers might have "won with him" Sunday if he'd executed a couple of tackles. I don't care if he can play with 3 pulled groins, he's got to be able to tackle to play that position.

You are right, that there's plenty of blame to go around. I just don't think Mitchell should get a pass.

Yup. He was running his mouth about being a "superhero" in the rivalry. Instead, he was a chump. Not that this is new, but I can't stand Mike Mitchell. He's probably my least favorite player on the team, and one of my least favorite players to wear black and gold. He's perhaps adequate, but certainly nothing more.

It kills me that the Steelers could have signed Malcolm Jenkins, a much better player, for less money.

As soon as Mitchell missed that tackle... smh. How do you let Mike Wallace stiff arm you? The biggest difference in the game was tackling. The Ravens form tackle like it's the 80's.
