i'm in a keeper fantasy league with a cowboys fan... he has Ezekiel Elliot. I've got LeVeon Bell...

      I've proposed:
Steelers win, I give you Bell for your #2 RB
Cowboys win, you give me Zeke for my #2 RB

      THAT is confidence, baby...

Dallas has a real OL. Steelers can't sniff the QB against much lesser quality so how will they manage to get any pressure on Prescott? Dallas also has a lot weapons on O the Steelers defense should be worried about. Can they win? absolutely... will they win? It will need to be a nearly flawless game.

We win if our "A" team offense shows up.

            Otherwise ... .

We got our "6-PACK" - time to work on a CASE!

HERE WE GO STEELERS, HERE WE GO!

The ONLY way our "A" offense shows up is if Mike Tomlin takes the shackles off of it and demands that Haley do something different. We were utterly embarrassed against the Eagles, Dolphins and Rats. To be honest, I'm expecting a beat down from the Cowboys, who are riding a high.

I pity the fool who goes up against our "A" team.
I love it when a plan comes together.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Prediction -- Tomlin will "take the shackles off" and they'll come out firing away against the Cowboys. Then, next game, against the Browns, they'll revert.

Or if Todd Haley magically missed the bus to the stadium... wait... it's a home game... dangit!

honestly think they lose to scrubs because they play conservative because they think they're that much better than them... it's arrogance that causes those losses...

I can understand arrogance causing a slow start in the first quarter. But once you start getting embarrassed, the arrogance should be gone. It's more than just arrogance that's causing these losses.

meh...same mentality that caused them to wait until the 4th quarter to actually play offense this past game. our offense is one of those that CAN score seemingly whenever... so, i really think they just wait until they have to..

Philly game - no explanation there. but, they got drubbed in all facets of the game.

The problem with that mindset is you may simply run out of time in a game... aka the last one.

Maybe I am reading too much into his pressers, but there seems to be something more going on with Tomlin and this team. His comments seem to communicate that he is OK with some losses because he is trying to teach the younger plays lessons in discipline and command, doing as directed. He seems to be building this team for the longer term and knows there will be short term pain. ... again, maybe me reading too much into his comments.

If he is indeed "trying to teach the younger players lessons in discipline," then maybe he'd better re-evaluate what he's doing ... to these eyes, it seems as though the team has become more UNdisciplined as the season has unfolded ... what was the number on penalties/yards lost in the Ravens game?
