Ben throws ball 24 times ... in 4th quarter

And the game is still going on.

All those runs in the 1st 3 quarters though ...

Does he just need to "warm up" after being out with injury? Maybe mentally more than physically?

Anyway ... the way the game is ending gives me hope we can beat the Cowgirls next week.

    Pending injury report on Pouncey.

We got our "6-PACK" - time to work on a CASE!

HERE WE GO STEELERS, HERE WE GO!

The Ravens are just giving up underneath stuff because they have the lead

Ben made a few deep passes.

Run run pass is a bad idea vs the Ravens.

The record speaks for itself, Tomlin/Haley do not know how to prepare the team for a division rival and certainly struggle with bye week preparations. And it is odd the QB always seems to be dinged up for this divisional game.

Haley definitely overthought, or underthought, the game plan. The offense was offensive for 50 minutes.

              Ridiculously bad offensive game plan.

Why blame Haley..Dont you guys understand going 5 wide with no one in the backfield confuses the best defenses.

The defense gave up one big play. Outside of that big play they played well and kept the team in the game.

The blocked punt resulted because a player didn't block his assigned man.

The penalties hurt the offense at times. Ben didn't play well. Ben struggled with his presnap recognition, finding open WRs, and execution of throws.

It appeared the Ravens were not going to let Bell beat them in the run game. Outside of pulling Ben for Jones (many of you think he sucks) I don't know what else the coaches could had done to make the offense perform any better. If Ben continues with these types of up and down performances the team will struggle to make the playoffs.

Maybe so, are you suggesting this was the best adjustments they could make? "were not going to let Bell beat them"... and yet the plan was run, run, pass.

Any one who thinks that having Ben throw the ball more would have helped the offense clearly didn't watch the game.

                          disagree

We never let Ben get into a rhythm. Play calling was predictable most of the day.

                            It wasn't run, run, pass.

First series 1st down pass, 2nd down run, 3rd down run
Second series 1st down run, 2nd down run, 3rd down pass (This was 3rd and 5 and Ben had WR's open short) Ben went deep
Third Series 1st down pass, 2nd down pass, 1st down penalty, Pass, 2nd down pass (penalty) pass, 3rd down run. Punt (I think this entire series was no huddle)
Fouth series 1st down pass, 1st down pass, 2nd down run, 3rd down pass, punt

I suggest you review the rest of the series on NFL.com. You will find out that what you remember in regard to run, run, pass wasn't correct.

Two huge issues that I think hurt. Penalties and Ben's poor play on 3rd down. The best adjustment for this team would had been for Ben to play better.

Just curious but how do you let Ben get into a rhythm? They even tried no huddle and it didn't work. Ben stunk. He didn't hit open WR's. He didn't see open WR's. He wasn't good enough presnap, with post snap decision making, or with the execution of throws.
