With Shazier, these are relatively minor injuries that turn into half the year. This current injury was being reported as a day-to-day injury, one that a guy like Lambert (since he was mentioned) or Harrison would definitely play in. I can say definite, because I've seen Harrison listed with a similarly "minor" injury on the injury report many times--and he's always out there. And this isn't the first time with Shazier. I can't remember the one previous, but it was the same sort of deal (I think last year was a shoulder? where it was just supposed to be a stinger. Turned into a month and half or something.) That is the issue.

For the record, Polamalu was a similar kind of guy. He would get injured and be useless for months. I suppose that is the way certain guys are built. But let's not try to obfuscate the issue here. Let's not pretend that Shazier is Pouncey or Bell, and he's certainly no Lambert when it comes to playing in paind.
OMG, please shut up about Lambert. If Lambert played today he would sit out as well.

We we don't get to decide what is a minor injury for a player in today's NFL.

That doesn't back up what you said, you said the players today think they can play part time and demand big money. I'm asking you to back up what your claiming the players mentality is today. Pointing to a player or a even a handful of players that have been injured and gotten contracts does not back up what you are saying.

Especially since the great Lambert was ultimately done in by a toe injury...I mean booboo.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Yes we do. Sports medicine is to a point that is pretty accurate. Hell, we got Twitter doctors who can effectively analyze injuries just by watching the TV. Acting like this is 1990 and pretending like no one out here knows what it's like to have injuries is ignorant on your part.

BTW, I doidnt bring up Lambert. ****, fill in the blank: HArrison, Lloyd, Porter, they all played hurt. Shazier has not.
I wasn't hired for my disposition.

Pushing for a guy to "play hurt" when the last time he came back prematurely from injury, he reaggrevated it and was out even longer.

              Brilliant!

What are you both, stupid? If you don't play hurt in the NFL, then you'll never play. Mike Mitchell had a knee injury last week on a hit in the endzone... it would have been easily reasonable for him to sit out the rest of that game. What did he do? Strap it up and play.

I saw Shazier in their late, but didn't see him make much splash after the 1st quarter. How'd he do near the end of the game.

We got our "6-PACK" - time to work on a CASE!

He was good, nothing spectacular, played mostly in coverage.
