What's better for Steelers: CIN or NE win?

I guess we have to root for CIN to lose, right?

Man, I h*te NE so much, I think I'm losing my perspective ... for a minute I started rooting for the Bumgals to beat them. Someone slap me please!

Cincy doesn't scare me anymore. We WILL win the division.

The Pats own us in their house. Therefore, a higher seed than the Pats is my priority.

I will be rooting for the ugly orange.

Cinci without a doubt. We're 2 games ahead of cinci. We don't need them to lose every game. We need NE to lose to improve our odds of home playoffs.

I want Cincy to lose. With the bad blood between us and the Bengals, I don't want to meet them in the playoffs. I feel like playoff games between division rivals often end up with teams beating the crap out of eachother so the winner can't do much the next week (maybe I'm just remembering last year).

If we win and they lose, then we're 3 games up. At worst we'll tie in head-to-head, and we'd be 4-0 in the ACF and they'd be 2-3. I think that would make it very hard for them to pass us in the standings and win the division.

If we lose and they win, then we're 1 games up. At worst we'll tie in head-to-head, and we'd be 3-1 in the ACF and they'd be 3-2. They're one win away from tied with us.

I'm not going to be pissed if Cincy beats the *s (see above), but I'd rather they lost because it makes our road to the division easier.

Based on recent performance Id say we're more likely to see Baltimore in the playoffs than Cincinatti. The Ravens are better on D and similar on O.

If a mere "playoff" is the goal or keeping Cincy out, you have a point. But thinking Super Bowl I say you gotta want the Pats to lose.

                Remember:
Despite your reasoning about rivals beating each other up, EVERY TIME (3 times) we went to the Super Bowl post 70s, victories against a "hated division rival" paved the path there my friend. Put another way, we lost in every playoff we avoided being tested by a division rival.

If Cincy wins the division AND we miss the playoffs wnich requires us to trend down as the season goes on, we are NOT a Super Bowl caliber team able to beat NE on the road.

Now if the Super Bowl is the goal, let me tell you what has NEVER happened in getting there. A VICTORY OVER THE PATRIOTS.

Furthermore, Ben has NEVER EVER beaten a Brady let Pats team in Foxboro, even in the regular season. He HAS beaten Brady at home.

If we are indeed a Super Bowl caliber team, the biggest obsticle in our way is NE. I want them in Pittsburgh where we have on occasion had successs. A Steeler team that Cincy can keep out of a playoff, ain't gonna do jack squat getting there anyway.

I'm just happy that one of those teams has to lose today.

Guess I'll just root for a good game for maximum MNFE points.

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
