A A Ron Rodgers looked terrible vs the Vikings. That minny D harassed him all night.

I didn't watch the Carolina game Sunday but am hearing cam newton didn't play that well (comp percentage wise) and they were limited without much of a running game making they're offense one dimensional

100 million, 20 million, whatever million dollar QB isn't going to look good when pressured like that.
Ben did have some errant throws when he had time so it certainly wasn't a good game I'll say.
But ya Gotta wonder how things would have look with a Td that Wheaton dropped and another ball he dropped on 3 rd down early in the game. Once things started to snowball, the Eagles pinned their ears back and the protection only got worse.

Yeah, Ben was also hanging onto the ball 5 seconds or longer on many plays.

Maybe there is a correlation...poor QB play. It's interesting how people come to the defense of Ben at the slightest sign of criticism. Anyone here long enough which should include you knows I'm one of Ben's biggest fans. I'm also one of his biggest critics. I expect much of our QB and expect him to play like a franchise QB. If a D is pinning their ears back you can't hold onto the ball. You have to find ways of getting the ball out quicker. Help that OL out. He has played poorly in 2 out of 3 of our first games. Am I concerned? Yeah a little. Ben won't be Ben much longer. Just hoping this isn't the year.

I think Ben put both the D and the OL in a bad position. When Ben isn't playing well and we get behind big early it allows a D to pin their ears back because they dont fear the run. Not many OL's no matter how good they are can withstand that kind of pressure. The Eagles were able to bring it because of the deficit. It made a bad situation worse.

Yeah things went downhill after that first drive where he looked good and just snowballed from the dropped Td and blocked fg.

After Philly was up by 2 scores he seems like he was looking at the pass rush coming and making sure he doesmt take a big shot which I dont blame him one bit.
Get out of that game healthy cause we weren't coming back to win
