Hamilton is more or less an NFL journeyman but he does still hold the SEC record for most receiving yards in a game (303) so he's not a total bum as I first assumed.
Obviously the standard is the standard.

Steelers add a wide receiver and a tight end

The Steelers made a host of roster moves Friday as they continue to try to upgrade depth at the tight end position.

Signed Friday were wide receiver Cobi Hamilton and tight end Michael Cooper. Rookie tight end Jake Phillips was waived, and wide receiver Canaan Severin was waived-injured. If Severin clears waivers, he’ll revert to the team’s injured reserve list.

The Steelers like big receivers and will give the 6-foot-2 Hamilton a look after he was cut by the Panthers early in camp. A sixth-round pick of the Bengals in 2013, Hamilton has had two stints with the Bengals and has also spent time with the Eagles and Dolphins.

Cooper is an undrafted rookie who previously spent time with the Redskins. He replaces Phillips, who had just signed with the team Wednesday.

Ladarius Green, the team’s projected starter at tight end, remains on the active/physically unable to perform list.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
